Farmington Minnesota Track and Field

Program Overview

The Farmington Youth Track Program is designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of track and field in a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment. 

The season includes five track meets and typically at least one practice per week.

2025 Program Information - Girls and Boys Grades K-6

Coaches Clinic:   Tuesday, March 11th @ Farmington High School

Practice Times:    (K-3) will practice once a week, (4-6) will practice twice a week, starting the week of March 31st. Practices will be for one hour between 6:00-8:00, M-TH.
                                   
 

Kindergarten and 1st Grade

2nd and 3rd Grade

*All times are subject to change and make-up meets may be run on Saturday afternoons or Sundays
Eligibility: Girls and boys in grades K-6 of the current year are eligible for in-house track and field.

Fees: The registration fee is $60/participant for grades K-3 and $80/participant for grades 4-6 until and including February 16th.  After that time late registration fees will be $75/participant for grades K-3 and $100/participant for grades 4-6 until March 1st.  Registrations received after February 16th will be subject to team/coach availability.  A separate $150/child (max. $300/family) volunteer deposit is required.  Your volunteer check will be shredded if an adult member of your family (18+) meets the family volunteer requirements (3 times per child/5 times maximum per family); otherwise, the check will be cashed.
