Cross Country Practice Cancelled 8/22/2023

The temperatures will be too extreme for distance running today, we will not have practice tonight (8/22/2023).  The plan will be to have practice on Thursday (8/24/2023) at 6:00pm.

Cross Country Registration is Open!

2023 CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION

Open to all incoming 3rd - 8th graders. If you have someone younger and they are really into running and you believe they are capable of finishing a 1 mile race then please contact Adam about adding them to the team.

Fee: $75 per child and $50 for each additional child within the same family. Checks payable to ‘Farmington Youth Track and Field’

Practices: Tuesday and Thursday 6pm-7pm, at Boeckman Middle School Track, meeting outside of the track gate.

Meets.  All races are 1 mile in length and all grades will race together in one large race. Each meet handles awards differently with some handing out awards to the top 3 in each grade, others handing out awards to the top 20 finishers. They are fun and encouraging events. One awesome aspect of our meet schedule is our high school programs will be competing at the same time as a few of the youth meets.

Meet schedule most races are in the evening, typically Tuesday or Thursdays.  Season begins August 22nd and ends on September 28th at Dodge Middle School (One optional meet follows).
